1) More flexibility with Remote Access Modem Kits
The Allen-Bradley Dial-in Ethernet Modem allows users to: connect with, and solve problems with any device on Ethernet network. Users can also modify, upload and download new programs, collect data and monitor system status. The Remote Access Dial-in Ethernet Modem combines a 56K dial- in modem with the functionality of a four port managed switch, allowing transparent connection to devices on an Ethernet network from a remote location. A built-in configuration utility makes installation quick and easy, and helps ensure a trouble free connection the first time, and every time.

2) MP-Series™ Integrated Linear Stages : Simplified and Precise Linear Positioning
The design, building and integration of linear stage actuators for use in automation machinery can be complex, time consuming and expensive. But with the MP-Series™ Integrated Linear Stages, you can dramatically reduce the cost and work required to implement linear stages in your machine.
Tight integration with Allen-Bradley Logix control systems makes the MP-Series™ Integrated Linear Stages easy to incorporate - whether your choice is ballscrew or direct drive linear motor technology.

4) Production Scheduling in the Food & Beverage industry
The Food and Beverage industry faces strong competitive pressures, forcing manufacturers to provide a more diversified product line to satisfy consumer trends. Balancing multiple variables such as seasonal supply and market demand, can be challenging, as well as managing a multitude of production and capacity constraints, such as tanks with minimum and maximum filling levels and residence times, variable changeovers and bottlenecks.

5) Advanced Process Control optimises operations
Embracing the APC approach can help users obtain additional process knowledge, understand interactions between process variables, explain non-linear relationships and handle multi-parameter systems.
The solutions include model predictive control, dynamic simulation and modelling, real-time optimisation, fuzzy logic and control. These solutions are added to enhance performance of existing controllers and designed for
increased production throughput and productivity, utility monitoring and cost reduction, enhanced preventative maintenance procedures, improved process control and operational performance.
