- Updated FactoryTalk View Software Helps Engineers Reduce Implementation Time for Visualisation Applications
The latest version of FactoryTalk View visualisation software for machine-level and site-level human-machine interface (HMI) solutions is available. The FactoryTalk View Machine Edition (ME) and FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) version 5.1 software, along with FactoryTalk ViewPoint software, allows for easy, remote monitoring of manufacturing processes from an internet browser. There are several enhancements that reduce visualisation solution implementation time for engineers, particularly when used with the Rockwell Automation Logix Control Platform.

- Minotaur MSR42 Safety Controller for Guardshield Micro 400 Safety Light Curtains
The Allen-Bradley Minotaur MSR42 safety controller is ideal for light curtain applications large or small. The ‘out of box’ defaults allow users to attach the GuardShield™ Micro 400 light curtains with basic On/Off functionality and fixed blanking. If muting or additional safety product monitoring is required, an optical interface along with the Configuration and Diagnostic Software enables the user to configure the module for more advanced functions including two or four sensor muting.

- SafeZone™ Safety Laser Scanner Now Available with Single Zone or 4 Zone Detection
Allen-Bradley Guardmaster SafeZone safety laser scanners are a Type 3 opto-electronic device, which uses the diffuse reflection of emitted infrared laser light to determine the intrusion of a person or object within a defined area. A rotating deflection mirror periodically emits Class 1 (eye safe) infrared laser pulses over a 190° angular area to create a two dimensional detection field.

The Allen-Bradley Bulletin 193-ERID E1 Plus remote indication display is an intelligent reset button for the E1 Plus electronic overload relay. Remote indication displays increase motor maintenance productivity because maintenance personnel can view the status and reset an E1 Plus from a closed electrical enclosure. This minimises the need for uncomfortable and cumbersome personal protective equipment.
