All Rockwell Automation training instructors are industry experienced engineers with current "hands-on" application experience, whose technical skills are annually assessed and updated.

David Lomas - Senior Technical Instructor
David joined Rockwell Automation in June 1989, having previously worked in QA and Engineering in diverse industries. He joined the Customer Training department with responsibility for courseware development and delivery to the extensive customer base that Rockwell services from the Sutton Coldfield training centre. David has developed a deep technical understanding of the wide range of Rockwell Products that he provides training on technologies, from MicroLogix to products based on Microsoft SQL Server. He has been heard to say that he covers anything that does not turn! With his extensive knowledge and experience David is comfortable in tackling unique and bespoke training to satisfy the customers many unique training requirements.

Les Collier - Senior Technical Instructor
Les joined Rockwell Automation in 1993, from Brintons Carpets where he was Senior Control Engineer working for the R & D division. He ran numerous projects including conceptual design and simulation of an automated dye house and associated highbay warehouse. He also worked on patented loom design and integrated the design studio to production processes. Les is an avid sailor having started in the Laser class and is now a Yachtmaster and fully qualified RYA instructor. Les teaches with a warm friendly style making reference to practical examples.

Glyn Fisher - Training Instructor
Glyn Fisher has gained considerable experience in the design, programming and commissioning of machinery in his career in Automation which began in 1985. After completing a course in teaching adults at Worcester College of Technology, Glyn joined Rockwell's training division in 2004. The combination of a wealth of experience in machinery, up to date knowledge of Rockwell products and a qualification in teaching means that Glyn can offer the best possible learning experience for delegates.

Dave Bate - Technical Training Instructor
Dave joined the team of instructors at Bank House in late 2007. In his previous employment at a UK Systems Integrator, he has enjoyed 20 years continuous "hands-on" contact with almost all Allen-Bradley PLC families, many A-B HMI products, and a wide selection of Rockwell Software packages. His existing skill levels, allied with a dynamic training style and ongoing internal development has already proved to be a valuable addition to the Team.
