Rockwell Automation® Addresses the Challenge of Staying Competitive at the World Drug Manufacturing Summit

Rockwell Automation will be presenting at the 8th annual World Manufacturing Drug Summit in Berlin, (2-4 December 2009). As lead sponsor of the event, Rockwell Automation will be discussing how to stay competitive in an uncertain economy.

Joerg Erdman, Rockwell Automation’s business manager for Life Sciences, will explain how new solutions can ease the management of pharmaceutical products through their manufacturing lifecycle by allowing the same technology, S88 model and recipe structure to be used at all stages.

Marcel de Grutter, from Solvay, will talk about his experience in implementing an Electronic Batch Recording (EBR) systems. How to balance the need for investment against the achievable benefits; where the hidden pitfalls and additional value can be found; and the strategies for ensuring the inclusion of important design, recipe and review processes will all be covered in his presentation.

Rockwell Automation Leads the Debate on Manufacturing Convergence at the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit

Achieving operational excellence through Manufacturing Convergence will be the theme of Rockwell Automation’s headline workshop at the 5th annual European Manufacturing Strategies Summit in Dusseldorf, Germany, (12-14 October 2009).
