Upgrade now your Allen-Bradley PanelView 1400e

The Allen-Bradley PanelView 1400e Operator Interface terminal has been working to increase customer productivity and control system usability for over 10 years. However, the 12” Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs) used in these products have been discontinued. This makes them difficult to obtain, and increasingly expensive. From January 1st 2008 we will no longer be able to guarantee the availability of components required to provide standard repairs to this product. As you may be aware there are many disadvantages to CRT as opposed to LCD technology including image burn, bad focus, high energy consumption, distortion, glare and high voltages; to mention just a few.



In today’s highly-sophisticated manufacturing facilities, automation and control systems play an integral role in mission-critical plant operations. As automation equipment becomes older and less reliable, it may seriously risk your plants productivity.

If your organisation is restricted to upgrade to the newer Rockwell Automation visualisation products, the PanelView 1400e LCD upgrade could be the right decision for your plant. This option offers the replacement of the PanelView 1400e CRT screen to a new LCD flat screen in your existing unit and poses limited interruptions to your plant.
