The Allen-Bradley 440P limit switch family offers a full range of international style solutions for safety and standard sensing applications.

The latest addition is a rugged, 22mm metal-bodied model. The family now comprises four different body styles: 22 and 30mm metal and 15 and 22mm plastic. With a broad selection of operator types, circuit arrangements and connection options, the 440P family offers an ideal solution for a wide variety of applications.

Other key features include: compact die-cast alloy metal body with industry standard 22mm IEC mounting; slotted 20-25mm mounting holes for variations in mounting options; pre-wired 2m cable, exiting at either the bottom or the side of the switch; UL, TÜV and CE marked; enclosures rated to NEMA 1, IP66/IP67; two circuit (1 N.C. and 1 N.O.) snap-acting contact; a direct-opening feature for use in safety applications (users must follow EN 954-1 and all other industry standards for safety circuits); category 1 Device as per EN 954-1; and suitability for Category 3 or 4 systems, when ganged together and used with a safety relay or safety PLC.
