Miniature proximity sensors are ideal where space is limited

The introduction of a new connection style – the cable pigtail version with three-pin Pico connector – allows the 871C miniature sensors to get closer to the target without requiring the space necessary for a traditional Pico cordset connection.

With the new space-saving connection style, the 871C miniature sensor can be placed closer to a target (left). The stainless steel housing makes the 871FM ideal for solutions where space reduction and hygiene is required (right)

This connection style enables the sensor to be as close to the target as necessary, while providing the convenience of a Pico quick disconnect for easy plug and play. The sensors included in this range are available in standard- and extended-sensing range versions

The 871FM M5- and M8-size square miniature rectangular models offer additional flexibility based on their through-hole mounting style, which eliminates the need for a traditional bracket. In addition, their shielded construction allows these sensors to be flush mounted, resulting in a very low profile.

Available in standard and extended sensing range versions; extended sensing range models are ideal for applications where there is a potential for sensor damage attributed to target/sensor collisions. The stainless steel housing is ideal for application in corrosive atmospheres or where hygiene is a pre-requisite.
