Minotaur MRS300 Modular Monitoring Safety Relays
Expanding its already comprehensive safety portfolio, Rockwell Automation has released the next generation of Modular Safety Relays under the name Minotaur MSR300. This new family of expandable modular safety relays handles more complicated and larger safety systems by allowing the user to connect multiple input modules to a single base unit. It offers the ability for a logic configuration with multiple inputs and the control of multiple independent outputs.
The safety relays can handle more complicated safety systems by allowing the user to connect multiple input modules to a single base unit
The MSR300’s diagnostic capabilities and communication functionality also reduce maintenance time by providing input, output and error status. The MSR300 will also include DeviceNet connectivity for control and diagnostic functionality offering safety communication across an Integrated Architecture.
The MSR300 controls up to three independent zones, with up to 20 inputs and 18 outputs, to allow safety control of larger, more complex manufacturing equipment with a single relay system. Features include:
- Maximum of 18 N.O. safety outputs
- Maximum of 6 N.C. auxiliary output contacts
- Available on the base module:
- Automatic/Manual reset per group (up to 3)
- Auxiliary Solid State output per group (up to 3)
- Input modules can be configured for multiple input devices with one part number
- DeviceNet option coming soon (control and diagnostics only)
- One Auxiliary output per safety input
