HMI Conversion Services

With our HMI Conversion Services, customers can leverage our expertise to successfully migrate from PanelView to PanelView Plus operator terminals.

These services provide the following benefits:

• Improved process availability and production capacity
• Improved manufacturing quality
• Decreased long-term costs and unplanned downtime

HMI Conversion Services begin with a review of the customer’s goals, objectives, specific site requirements, existing HMI inventory and hardware and software programming. HMI Conversion Services then develops a service scope of supply for the project, and submits a fixed price proposal for approval. Upon acceptance, we assist at every step throughout the conversion project:
Project Leadership – We assign a project leader to be the primary contact and coordinate/schedule all project activities.

On-Site Assessment – Using standardised checklists and processes, our primary engineer confirms project scope, validates project risks, reviews testing and acceptance criteria, and gathers the required information and software to convert existing screens and software code.

Conversion Engineering – Utilising applications designed to convert existing screens and code, our engineers complete and test the screen conversion process and any required PLC code changes necessary for conversion.

Start-up and Acceptance – Prior to site installation, engineers load all software on the new terminals and perform a functional test. Following installation, our engineers work closely with the customer to perform an operational test for each machine. This test validates the conversion to ensure operational compliance. Upon acceptance of the project, engineers provide complete documentation of the new system.
