MicroLogix controller enhancements

New enhancements to our Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1100 family of industrial controllers enable increased power, speed and expanded communication capabilities.

The controllers meet the needs of various applications across a multitude of industries, with control, communication and visualisation in one compact system. Featuring advanced communication capabilities, the MicroLogix 1100 family of controllers offers similar functionality as other high-end controllers on the market, but at a much lower price.

Enhancements to communications and the Web server enable customers to share information quickly and cost-effectively across all levels of the enterprise. Series B MicroLogix 1100 controllers will include an onboard Ethernet Web server with the ability to notify users of production faults via e-mail. The embedded communications port and Web server give users access to control information for real-time data sharing with Machine Builder partners, remote maintenance engineers and personnel throughout the production facility.

Users have easy access to basic controller and I/O status information with the embedded, multipurpose text LCD display. This gives them the ability to monitor and make changes to data values directly from the display, helping to eliminate the need for a stand-alone operator interface in many applications.

For applications utilising a 12V power source, we have added the MicroLogix 1100 DWD controller to the line.
