New 800FD range pushes all the right buttons

We have launched a new line of monolithic control and indicating units as part of our Bulletin 800F range. The new 22.5mm Bulletin 800FD control and indicating units combine front and back panel elements in a convenient ‘all in one’ design.

The Bulletin 800FD range includes emergency stop devices, flush and extended push buttons, pilot light in both LED and incandescent versions, plus a number of two- and three-position selector switches. All 800FD control and indicating units are fully compatible with existing accessories and enclosures in the 800F range. The aesthetic design also complements other products in the 800F range, and features a low back-of-panel profile of just 45.7mm and an anti-rotation tab that can be easily removed for use in panels without notches. The tough industrial-grade body is designed with durability and longevity in tough industrial environments in mind.

The E-Stop switches in the 800FD range meet the requirements of EN 418 and EN 60947-5-5 and include IP66 rated devices for use in harsh environments. Push-pull and twist-to-release actions are both incorporated in a single device, and a trigger action with anti-tease feature helps to ensure positive operation of the E-stop function in an emergency. The non-removable contacts and tamper-resistant body help to ensure switch integrity while in use. Each switch in the 800FD range features silver-nickel contacts, designed to provide long service and excellent electrical properties.

Pilot light versions available in the 800FD range include both LED and incandescent variants, both of which offer leakage current protection up to 3mA. The optically enhanced lens helps to ensure good visibility even in high ambient light conditions, and is available in six different colours for maximum flexibility. The LED-lit version offers a long operating life of up to 100,000 hours and high resistance to shock and vibration.
