Safety control products receive China Compulsory Certification (CCC) mark

Allen-Bradley has now received for the majority of its safety products lines, the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) mark. This certification helps those who are building machines and systems for the fast-growing Chinese market to incorporate safety control systems that meet local product licencing requirements.

CCC-certified safety product lines include cable pull switches (Lifeline), monitoring safety relays (MSR) and safety switches (Elf, Cadet 3, Trojan, MT-GD2, TLS, Spartan, 440G-MT, Atlas5). In addition, we are pursuing certification for other safety product lines, including non-contact interlock switches and additional safety relays.

Our certification saves machine builders time and money by eliminating the need for them to go back and certify the products themselves.

Other CCC-certified product lines in our range include motor control centres, contactors and accessories, circuit breakers, smart motor controllers, electronic overload relays, pushbutton and indicators and the control relay 700 series.

Safety products subject to the CCC mark include relays, switches, controllers and contactors that operate above 36V. However, not all safety products need the CCC mark to be commissioned in China. Products that operate below 36V are not subject to compulsory certification, these include GuardShield light curtains, SensaGuard non-contact switches and SmartGuard 600 safety PLCs.
