New contactor goes easy on the current
Rockwell Automation has expanded its successful line of MCS-C industrial contactors with a new low consumption coil. The 100-C 24V DC coil with low power meets IEC, UL and CSA standards and is fully RoHS compliant.
The line expansion includes DC load capacity, phase-angle control, and active heat sinks |
This new design results in a lighter, decreased depth and more energy efficient contactor, which eases wiring and provides a more uniform panel appearance.
The low power consumption contactor, designed to control motors and other loads, is especially aligned to the specific requirement of electronic control circuits. The low power consumption of allows direct control through PLCs without the need for interposing relays. Power dissipation is greatly reduced limiting the heat generated in control panels.
Available as a DIN rail or screw mount, the low consumption 24V DC coil features the same contactor depth dimensions as AC coil devices, and has reversible coil terminations (line or load side). Meeting IEC, UL and CSA standards requirements, the new 100-C constructed from environmentally friendly materials and is fully RoHS compliant.
